Reviews for Dear Joe - Coffee and Juice
Review highlights
Based on 293 reviewsDear Joe - Coffee and Juice is appreciated for its cozy and aesthetically pleasing ambiance, combining vintage and nature-inspired elements that create an inviting atmosphere. The spacious layout with ample parking and both indoor and outdoor seating options are frequently noted, with the second floor offering air-conditioned comfort. The cafe’s unique concept as a letterwriting spot adds to its charm and appeal. Food quality receives consistent praise, especially for items like sandwiches, pasta, and specialty drinks, although some menu items garner mixed feedback. Pricing tends toward the mid to high range, viewed as reasonable given the overall experience. A recurring concern among patrons is the limited air conditioning on the main floors during daytime, which can affect comfort in warmer hours. Additionally, availability of certain drinks and the policy regarding paid water have been mentioned. Overall, Dear Joe is recommended for those seeking a pleasant coffee break in a thoughtfully designed setting.
It was our first time here and the place didn't disappoint. Drinks were good, Roast Beef Sandwich was very good. The chorizo grilled cheese was also very good. Cronuts were superb. Update : It's warm during the day. Their AC couldn't cool the room. It's not conducive to work there during the day time.
Features -Delicious food -Beautiful area -Located in grass field -Clean Cr -Lots of food to eat -Second floor has airconditioning -Big parking area -Has outdoor seating Notes: Specify that you want service water, otherwise they will give you paid water A lot of drinks are not available Not that affordable
Dear Joe is the first letter-writing cafe in the Philippines. It offers a unique experience where customers can enjoy coffee and other refreshments while writing letters. The cafe is known for its cozy ambiance, often featuring a vintage or nature-inspired design with plants and artwork. Dear Joe provides a space for expressing thoughts and feelings, making it a popular spot for those who appreciate the art of letter writing.
We went here today to eat breakfast and we ordered Carbonara, Beef Bulgogi Rice Bowl, and a hot Vietnamese latte. The place is very spacious with lots of parking, and the interiors are really aesthetically pleasing and very Instagrammable. Food -Carbonara and Beef Bulgogi were delicious. The kimchi rice was okay, but not that remarkable. Price I’d say it’s reasonable considering you’re also paying for the ambiance. You can find cheaper options elsewhere, but if you don’t mind paying extra for a nice spot then the servings and quality are worth it. The only downside for me is the coffee. I don’t know what’s with the Villar-owned café chains The places are beautiful, but the coffee just doesn’t deliver. I think that’s something they really need to improve not just for Dear Joe, but across all their café brands. Overall, I will give them 4 stars because they are a pet-friendly establishment which I think is their edge over their competitors.
Overall it’s good! Food is mid to high price but it’s tasty Drinks are made well Interior is good Only down side is there’s no AC; we went on a Saturday afternoon just before sunset. It was hot! We found a cozy place on the second floor , around 5:30pm the weather was cooler and wind was good. Still recommended for quick coffee break
-The place is amazing with great outdoor view. -Coffees and juices are flavorsome. Cakes and pastries are tasty. In general, food is good though a bit pricey. - A nice place for families and friends to hang out especially during the cool season. -Parking is not an issue.
This place is located, I was told, already in Bacoor, though getting there was via Las Piñas. Pretty hard to reach unless one really intends to visit the location. The place itself had a nice ambiance though. Quiet, serene, great for remote work or chilling while reading together with friends or family. Food and beverage were good. Staff were friendly. There is ample parking. Surprisingly, there's even a bike rack, but no shade for parked vehicles and bikes.
There’s a sign right by the bridge entrance so it’s not hard to miss. Lots of parking and surrounding trees. Alfresco area and interiors are nice. For the coffee, they serve milk alternatives (soy) for those with dietary needs. I got an almond croissant but it was very tough:(
